2010 Inventors Boot Camp

Presented in Durango Colorado to prospective inventors, this workshop covers the process and pitfalls of inventing. Real live inventors share case histories discussing the good, bad, and ugly. Training was presented to eliminate the “bad and ugly”. Ian shared the platform with Rita Compton and specifically taught:
  • Prototyping – how and why prototyping is different at every stage of inventing and for different industries. He also covered different types of prototyping and what you can do yourself and when and where to get help when you need it.
  • “Made in USA” - Ian covered how to identify manufacturers in the USA who can make products at prices comparable to / or less than products made overseas. He also taught on methods to manage your project for maximum or best results.
